Welcoming speech - Kevin Quirk, FIT president

After the opening address, Kevin Quirk, FIT president, will give a welcoming speech. FIT is the international federation of translators, established in 1953, gathering professional associations of translators. It is the biggest federation of translators in the world, representing over 80 thousand translators in 55 countries, and maintaining a consultative status with UNESCO.
